* Bake Sale - Friday, May 18th 8:45-9:15am under the shade structure and 2:45-3:15pm in the courtyard: If you can't be there send your child to school with a few dollars to buy a treat. Volunteer to bake/bring items and drop them off on Thursday, May 17th in the staff room.
* Lost & Found: Please pick up items from Lost & Found. All items will be donated on 5/31.
* Recycle Drop Off - May 24th: Drop-off before school on the corner of McCall and Rajkovich.
* Order your School Supplies for next year: Deadline May 30th - Save your money and your time! Order them online here and enter school account# 82180. They will be delivered to your child's teacher for the first day of school. You do not need to pick them up as stated in the flyer that went home.
* Open WINS Positions for 2012-2013 Be on the WINS Board or Chair one of the events/programs. We need your help!!! We are now accepting nominations for the WINS Board. There is a box in the office for nominations (please make sure the person will accept the position you are nominating him/her for). The deadline to nominate someone is May 18th at 3pm. Thank you Williams Parents for already starting to volunteer for so many wonderful events and activities in your children's classrooms, and throughout the school. Please be sure to keep track of the hours as you are working, via the Wednesday White Envelopes on your youngest child's envelope. You will submit your hours to the school three times this year via our on-line tracking system. (This is similar to last year). The 1st hour collection is 11/14-18.

* Wins GATE Committee: A new GATE committee is formed under WINS Academic program. Goals for this parent volunteer led committee is to help improve GATE education at Williams. Priorities for 2011-12 school year include: Bring in ideas from parents and teachers, set up GATE summer camp and afterschool enrichment programs, form competition teams in various subjects, create a forum for GATE parents to communicate with school and with each other. Volunteers are needed to run or support enrichment programs or competition teams.
* GATE parent mailing list: 4th and 5th GATE student parents should have received an invitation to join a Yahoo Group for Williams GATE programs. This is the ONLY communication channel for WINS GATE program. Joining the group is mandatory for receiving future GATE program related announcements. If you choose not to join or leave the group, you will not be receiving any announcements. If you don’t have an invitation, please check your spam folder, or e-mail williamsgateprogram@yahoo.com This is an announcement only Yahoo group, which means member information is not shared, members are not allowed to load file, post messages, etc. The tightest privacy control is applied. You and your student’s privacy is being protected.
